Upper School Head of Physics

Essential Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a comparable position.
• Qualified Teacher Status through a PGCE, GTP, or an equivalent international qualification.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area.
• Ability to demonstrate high-quality teaching to EAL students.
• Exceptional relationships with students and colleagues that encourage excellent classroom discipline and achievement.
• Experience in designing and delivering engaging, challenging, and personalized lessons.
• Background in leading or assisting in the leadership of a department, or providing support to a school or department.

Desirable

• Experience in instructional coaching practice, preferably with accreditation.
• Evidence of participation in transformational changes within a department.
• A leadership role in organizing and executing extra-curricular activities.
• Proof of involvement in relevant continuing professional development (CPD).
• Potential opportunity for Head of Year for candidates with appropriate experience.
