Teaching Assistant - SEND Unit

Contract: Part Time, Permanent (32.5 hours per week / 38 weeks per year)

Salary: NJC Scale 3, SP 5-6 (FTE: £26,427 - £26,846 / Actual: £19,409 - £19,717 per annum)

Start date: ASAP

To realise our goal, we have an opening for a highly skilled learning support assistant to join our new team, working within Specialist Resource Base, supporting children with Communication and Interaction needs.

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the teacher to provide support for teaching and learning and associated activities in accordance with school policies and procedures. This may include providing general support for whole class learning activities, or supporting individuals or small groups of pupils. To attend to the personal and social needs of pupils in order to support their learning and development.
