About This Role
• Develops the annual curriculum for the designated grade level.
• Creates lesson plans that adhere to curriculum standards and submits them for review by academic coordinators.
• Adjusts lesson plans based on feedback received from academic coordinators.
• Remains updated on the latest educational resources, including technological innovations in classroom instruction, and incorporates these into teaching methods.
• Designs engaging and interactive learning opportunities for students while fostering a classroom atmosphere conducive to effective learning.
• Produces worksheets, handouts, and various educational materials that correspond with lesson plans, as well as assessments and examinations.
• Ensures prompt grading and provides feedback for student assignments.
• Assesses, documents, and communicates the growth, progress, and accomplishments of students.
• Identifies students who may require additional assistance, either academically or otherwise, and ensures they obtain the necessary support.
• Involves in extracurricular programs and participates in school functions such as assemblies, meetings, and conferences.
• Maintains the safety and well-being of students as a top priority.
• Collaborates with fellow teachers to share creative ideas, teaching approaches, subject matter expertise, and professional insights.
• Engages with parents during Parent Teacher Meetings and as needed, providing feedback and information regarding student performance.
