Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, inclusive PE and swimming instruction across all primary year groups.
• Inspire all students to embrace sports, enhance their skills, and cultivate lifelong healthy habits.
• Identify and nurture talented athletes, offering them pathways to elite performance.
• Lead and support extracurricular sports clubs, competitions, and events.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external partners to maximize student potential.
• Integrate innovative strategies and technology to enrich learning and engagement.

Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A BEd or Bachelor’s degree with a PGCE / PGDE or equivalent.
• Proven experience in teaching primary PE, preferably in an international or inclusive environment.
• A track record of outstanding teaching and learning.
• A passion for fostering both inclusive participation and elite sports pathways.
• Creativity, enthusiasm, and adaptability in the classroom and beyond.
• Excellent IT and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues.
• A commitment to professional development and contributing to a world-class educational community.

Desirable

• Swim England Level 2 Teaching Swimming Qualification (or equivalent).
• Highfield Lifesaving Certification (Level 2) or equivalent.
