English Teacher (First Language)
About This Role
Epsom College in Malaysia is looking to hire a qualified, enthusiastic, and committed English Teacher to become a part of our supportive and successful department.
This position is ideal for an energetic and intellectually driven individual with experience in teaching both English Language and English Literature. You will be responsible for instructing students at KS3 and KS4 levels, with the potential to teach KS5 in the future. Familiarity with Edexcel’s iGCSE Language and Literature courses is a plus but not a requirement.
As an English Teacher at Epsom College in Malaysia, you will be instrumental in developing our students' language and communication abilities. Your role will involve creating engaging and thought-provoking lessons that combine rigor, creativity, and independent thinking, alongside collaborative efforts to instill a passion for literature.
Epsom College in Malaysia is a vibrant, expanding institution that caters to a number of second-language learners. You will be expected to promote successful integration and enhance students' language skills by providing additional support to EAL learners during lessons.
However, if your expertise lies solely in teaching English as an Additional Language, this position may not suit your qualifications. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to apply for any future opportunities within our EAL Department.
To apply, please send a letter of application along with the completed application form and your resume. In your letter, we invite you to express your passion for teaching literature and provide details of your relevant experience.
