Custodian

We are inviting applications for the role of: Custodian Full-Time Permanent (40 hours) at St. Kateri Catholic School Job #55-2025/2026. Start date: ASAP. Grande Prairie & District Catholic Schools serves the communities of Grande Prairie, Beaverlodge, Sexsmith, and Spirit River.

Position Overview

Custodians are essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment, which greatly contributes to the morale of the school community and enhances its reputation.

Ideal Candidate Qualities

• Excellent communication abilities, with a talent for expressing ideas clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to keep the building clean and organized at all times
• Regularly dispose of trash in classrooms, restrooms, and all common areas throughout the facility
• Daily vacuuming and dry mopping of all floors and stairs
• Daily cleaning of restrooms (including sinks, toilets, counters/fixtures/dispensers, and walls/door frames) and classroom sinks

Desired Qualifications

• Completion of some High School education
• WHMIS training
