Part-Time Temporary Teacher (0.4 FTE) CST Teacher Catholic Education Center Start date: August 31, 2026 – June 29, 2027 Job #02-05-2026/2027 Grande Prairie & District Catholic Schools serves a wide area that includes the communities of Grande Prairie, Beaverlodge, Sexsmith, and Spirit River. Our dedicated team of 600 staff members is committed to providing exceptional teaching and learning experiences for approximately 5400 students. Position Overview Our Community Pre-Kindergarten programs create a play-centered learning environment for children aged 3 and 4. These programs support children with typical or advanced development, as well as those needing early intervention. Ideal Candidate Qualities Develop and implement Individual Program Plans (IPPs) using Dossier Facilitate PUF meetings and provide support to families and students Effectively assist educators in program implementation and inclusive education approaches Coordinate services in partnership with service providers and the early learning team Demonstrate exceptional communication and organizational skills Exhibit strong formal and informal leadership capabilities Utilize solid analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills Desired Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in education. Alberta Teaching Certificate (or eligible for application). A current Police Information Check and Intervention Record Check will be required from the selected candidate.
