Part-Time Temporary Teacher (0.4 FTE) CST Teacher Catholic Education Center Start date: August 31, 2026 – June 29, 2027 Job #02-05-2026/2027 Grande Prairie & District Catholic Schools encompasses a region that includes the communities of Grande Prairie, Beaverlodge, Sexsmith, and Spirit River. Our dedicated team of 600 staff members is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences for around 5400 students. Position Overview Our Community Pre-Kindergarten programs offer a play-based learning atmosphere for children aged 3 and 4. These programs cater to children with typical or advanced development, as well as those who require early intervention. Ideal Candidate Qualities Develop and execute Individual Program Plans (IPPs) utilizing Dossier Facilitate PUF meetings and extend support to families and students Effectively assist instructors in program delivery and inclusive education strategies Coordinate services while collaborating with service providers and the early learning team Exhibit outstanding communication and organizational skills Show strong formal and informal leadership abilities Apply strong analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills Desired Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in education. Alberta Teaching Certificate (or eligible to apply). A recent Police Information Check and Intervention Record Check will be necessary for the selected applicant.
