ABOUT THE COMMUNITY
Skownan School serves students from Nursery to Grade 9, accommodating 130 students with a dedicated team of 10 teachers and 17 support staff. Situated in Skownan, about one and a half hours northeast of Dauphin, the community offers essential amenities such as a gas station, convenience store, restaurant, and health centre. The local economy thrives on hunting, fishing, and eco-tourism.

WHAT YOU BRING
• A Bachelor of Education Degree and a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for one).
• A strong understanding of provincial curricula.
• Prior teaching experience.
• Proficiency with school-based technology.
• Effective classroom management abilities.
• Familiarity with the Indigenous Way of Life (considered an asset).
• Experience in a northern community (considered an asset).
