Mistahi Sipiy Elementary School, located in Big River First Nation, is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher to become part of their team for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Designing and executing lesson plans that cover a range of subjects
• Assessing and grading students’ understanding and performance related to the curriculum
• Engaging in discussions with students and parents about educational matters
• Fostering a positive, inclusive, and secure learning atmosphere that enhances education
• Crafting lesson plans and instructional strategies aligned with school standards
• Administering assessments to evaluate student progress and identify areas for development
• Creating a stimulating learning environment tailored to individual student needs
• Developing lesson plans and instructional resources through various interactive activities such as quizzes, competitions, and group discussions
• Overseeing and managing student behavior and classroom activities

Requirements:
• Excellent scheduling capabilities
• Strong organizational skills
• Bachelor of Education degree and a Saskatchewan Professional A teaching certificate
• Effective classroom management skills
• Ability to instruct students with diverse abilities
• Familiarity with the Saskatchewan Curriculum
• Cross-cultural experience is considered an asset
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required
• Must be able to provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract, Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Check
• Must be able to verify prior teaching experience (if applicable)
