About This Role

About The British School of Barcelona (City)
The British School of Barcelona (BSB) is an exceptional institution situated in a fantastic locale. As an HMC school, we recently received an outstanding evaluation from a BSO (British Schools Overseas) inspection across all areas, including educational quality, safeguarding, student welfare, and academic achievements.

BSB caters to over 2000 students aged 3 to 18 and is one of the most sought-after schools in the area. Our curriculum follows the English National Curriculum, offering a diverse selection of GCSEs, A levels, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma, complemented by a substantial enrichment programme.

Our school community includes pupils from more than 74 different nationalities, supported by a dedicated staff of over 315. We operate across three sites: two just outside Barcelona in Castelldefels, hosting Primary, Secondary, and Pre-University campuses, and one in the vibrant town of Sitges with an additional Primary campus. BSB City, located in the center of Barcelona, features a Foundation campus established in September 2021 and a newly opened main campus as of September 2023.

Recent growth has been bolstered by considerable investment, highlighted by the construction of a cutting-edge Pre-University Centre (Nexus), a full-sized 4G rugby and football pitch, specialized STEM facilities, and the new campuses in BSB City.

Barcelona offers an incredible quality of life, combining a vibrant city atmosphere with nearby beaches and mountains. The climate is mild, providing year-round sunshine.

We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Spanish and Catalan Primary Teacher to join our esteemed team.
