About This Role

The British School of Barcelona (BSB) is an outstanding institution situated in a remarkable location. As an HMC school, we recently received an exceptional rating in all areas from a British Schools Overseas (BSO) inspection, including education quality, safeguarding, student welfare, and academic results.

BSB serves a diverse student body, catering to children aged 3 to 18, and is well-regarded in the community. Our curriculum aligns with the English National Curriculum, offering a comprehensive selection of GCSEs, A levels, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma, complemented by a robust enrichment program.

With over 2000 students representing more than 74 nationalities, BSB employs over 315 staff across three campuses. In 2026, we will open a new, state-of-the-art campus in Maresme, just east of Barcelona city. Initially, this campus will welcome students from Nursery to Year 6, expanding to include Year 13 by 2028. This exciting development will feature advanced classrooms, science laboratories, fully equipped areas for music and art, dedicated spaces for play, social interaction, and study, as well as indoor and outdoor sports facilities, all set against a stunning backdrop of mountains and coastline. It promises to be an exceptional learning environment.

Our commitment to providing an outstanding student experience, coupled with strong academic performance and a focus on character building and global awareness, has propelled BSB's growth. We continuously strive for improvement, reflected in our dedication to teacher development through active professional learning communities and reflective practices.

Due to our expansion, we are seeking an exceptional teacher to join our team. If you are interested in being part of a remarkable journey and advancing your career, we invite you to apply.

Currently, we are looking for a part-time Primary Music Teacher to join our outstanding team.
