We currently have an opening for a Primary PYP PE Teacher.

Full-time position: 1 FTE (For the right candidate, there is a possibility of a Subject Leader role)
•
Contract Start Date: 1 August 2026
This role is governed by the Dutch collective labor agreement (CAO PO) for primary education, scale LB. The placement and scale will be determined based on relevant experience and qualifications. The maximum step within scale LB is 12 for full-time positions. If appointed as a Subject Leader, the scale would be LC. The contract for the successful candidate will initially be for one academic year, with the possibility of extension.
Requirements:
We seek a candidate who possesses:

A teaching qualification: Bachelor in Primary Education or PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status
•
Experience and capability to teach PE across all primary age groups
•
Familiarity with or knowledge of the PYP framework
•
Proficiency in spoken and written English at a native or near-native level
•
A positive, kind nature, aligned with our Guiding Statements
•
Effective communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues
•
The ability to tailor instruction to meet diverse learning needs and abilities
•
A passion for fostering critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills in students through PE and outdoor activities
•
The ability to collaborate with Year Group and Subject Teams as we support our PYP Candidacy Phase
