About This Role

The Position

• Your role will involve teaching the geography curriculum as outlined by the school's leadership team.

- This may include instructing a different IGCSE course, like CAIE Global Perspectives.

- You will assist students in preparing for university admissions.

- You will be responsible for monitoring student behavior and fostering a respectful classroom environment.

- Tracking student progress and evaluating their work will also be part of your duties.

- You will write reports and meet with parents as needed.

- Keeping the class attendance register accurate and organized is essential.

- You will supervise students during play and lunch as directed.

• It is crucial to prioritize student welfare at all times:

- You will be a member of one of the School’s Houses, supporting it in planned activities.

- You must adhere to the school’s safeguarding policies and procedures.

- Communication with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and parents will be required as necessary.

- You will also be responsible for evening boarding supervision duties, typically once every two or three weeks, in accordance with the School’s policies.

• You will contribute to the School’s co-curricular offerings, including activities and clubs such as:

- sports

- arts

- academic enrichment

- outdoor activities

• Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the School’s Leadership Team, which may include:

- Collaborating with marketing and admissions efforts.

- Attending staff meetings, in-service training sessions, etc.

- Participating in all-school events, such as Foundation Day.

- Serving on various school committees.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
