About This Role

This full-time post is available from January / Easter 2027 and offers an exciting opportunity to join a successful and thriving Faculty in this popular and friendly school. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual with a commitment to delivering high-quality lessons across the ability range.

The person appointed to this post will:

  • Be a fully qualified teacher of Mathematics
  • Be passionate about Mathematics and able to convey this to students
  • Be an outstanding classroom teacher
  • Be enthusiastic and energetic
  • Possess clear and effective communication skills
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of issues in Mathematics
  • Support the work of the Department in creating a successful ethos that is centred on student achievement and well being
  • Promote a dynamic and motivating approach to teaching and learning

  • Understand how to ensure all students reach their potential regardless of their background or ability.
  • Have the ability to communicate well, to work as a member of a team, and to have effective working relationships with students, staff and parents.
  • Have the ability to contribute to the wider work of the school, including our work as form tutors.
  • Demonstrate continuing personal professional development
  • Have a commitment to equal opportunities and to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people


Compensation

£30,000 - £46,525 (MPS/UPS Scale)
