Teacher of Business
About This Role
ROLE SUMMARY:
King's College School, Cascais, a respected member of the Inspired Education Group, is an esteemed international institution situated in the Lisbon region. We provide a well-rounded education through the Cambridge International curriculum up to Year 10, alongside a bilingual Portuguese–English programme until Year 5. Our commitment to academic excellence and holistic development prepares students for success at top universities worldwide.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Business Teacher with IB experience to join our team for the forthcoming academic year. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our growing Business and Economics Department. Business is currently the most popular optional subject for GCSE at Years 10 and 11, which requires multiple teaching sets across both year groups. Additionally, we offer Business Management in the IB Diploma Programme and Business A Level, both anticipated to generate considerable interest as we launch our Sixth Form in September 2026. We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience teaching GCSE Business as well as either IBDP Business Management or Business A Level, ideally both. We especially welcome applicants who can also instruct another subject in addition to Business, such as Economics, ICT or Computer Science, Mathematics, or Science.
The ideal candidate will design captivating Business and Management lessons that foster critical thinking, commercial awareness, and robust analytical and evaluative skills, leading to exceptional academic achievements. Being part of the Inspired global network allows you to collaborate with supportive colleagues and access abundant professional development opportunities while contributing to the wider academic and pastoral environment of the school.
You may also wish to attend our in-person Inspired Careers Event in London on Saturday, 24th January 2026. This event will feature our school alongside over 30 other UK and international Inspired schools, offering a chance to connect with teachers seeking new positions starting in August 2026.
