We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Social Studies Teacher to join our team for the 2026-27 academic year. Qualifications (Required):
- A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant discipline (e.g., history, geography, economics, political science)
- A minimum of two years of teaching experience at the secondary school level
- A valid teaching certification/license (Candidates without a license must either be eligible for licensure or have concrete plans to obtain one)
Preferred Qualifications (Desirable):
- Experience in developing conceptual, skill-based, or thematic assessments and lesson plans
- Familiarity with backward design methodologies for course planning (e.g., Understanding by Design)
- Knowledge of differentiated instruction techniques for English Language Learners (ELLs)
- Experience in teaching Advanced Placement courses in history, economics, politics, or geography
- Willingness to incorporate current trends in their subject area into teaching and course design
