As a proud not-for-profit institution, we have earned a spot among the top hundred private schools worldwide, as featured in the esteemed Spear’s School Index and the Carfax Index, marking us as Qatar’s only representative on both lists. Our (I)GCSE and A-Level examination results rank among the best in our category across the globe.

We provide our teaching staff with one of the most attractive compensation packages available in the Middle East, which includes a generous tax-free salary, an accommodation allowance that adequately covers quality housing in sought-after expatriate communities, medical insurance, school fee assistance (covering 75% of fees for up to three children), annual flights, and a substantial settling-in allowance along with end-of-service gratuity.

Our commitment to your professional growth is complemented by our focus on your well-being, featuring an innovative instructional coaching approach that ensures all educators, regardless of experience, continue to develop and achieve their full potential. We also provide a comprehensive induction and orientation program to help new staff adjust to the international transition. Additionally, our free on-site crèche for primary-aged children supports working parents, while staff representation on our Board of Governors plays a role in shaping the school’s strategic direction.

Working with our vibrant international student community is a true joy, and our forward-thinking approach encourages everyone at the College to contribute ideas and embrace new initiatives.

If you are eager to join our inspiring team that prioritizes your personal and professional development, and if you are committed to the highest standards, positivity, kindness, and warmth, we eagerly await your application.

The opportunity

As a leader, you will cultivate a culture focused on commitment, enthusiasm, and collaboration, ensuring that the core values of Doha College are integrated into all elements of sport and PE at the school. You will promote best practices in physical exercise and sports activities throughout the school and contribute to the institution’s strategic development. To excel in this role, you will serve as an exemplary role model within the PE Department, possessing substantial experience across various age groups and leading the school’s swimming program.

As a British international school, all instruction is delivered in English, making a high standard of written and spoken English essential. Applicants should be ready to make a positive contribution to all aspects of the school’s vision, including co-curricular activities.
