About This Role

This is a permanent role available on a part-time basis, at 0.4 FTE, starting in September 2026.

Become a part of RGS Prep during a pivotal moment in our history as we get ready to welcome both girls and boys into our Nursery classes beginning September 2027. More information can be found on our website and will also be provided upon your registration of interest below.

As our Nursery Teacher, you will be a qualified educator with a genuine enthusiasm for positively impacting young lives as they embark on their educational paths. You will be responsible for leading a Nursery class (ages 3-4) across various subjects while also providing pastoral care as their Form teacher.

Key responsibilities include:

- Designing and delivering lessons that cater to the diverse needs of all students.
- Establishing clear learning objectives based on each child’s previous achievements.
- Creating an engaging and well-structured classroom atmosphere with easily accessible resources.
- Monitoring, evaluating, documenting, and reporting on students’ progress, incorporating both formative and summative assessments into your planning.
- Effectively engaging with parents regarding their children's development, progress, and achievements.
- Participating in the school's extracurricular activities.

Compensation

£30,000 - £46,525 (MPS/UPS Scale)
