Aldar Education is on the lookout for exceptional Mathematics Teachers to join our team in August 2025. This position is located at ADNOC School in Ruwais (Western Region), Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Responsibilities:
• Foster a learning environment that encourages exceptional educational practices
• Establish clear teaching and learning goals
• Create engaging tasks that challenge students and sustain their interest
• Set high expectations and appropriate targets based on prior performance
• Identify students with special educational needs or exceptional abilities, ensuring their requirements are met through tailored approaches
• Structure lessons effectively to maintain pace, motivation, and challenge
• Utilize assessment for learning strategies effectively
• Analyze performance data and key indicators to inform lesson planning and provide differentiated instruction
• Uphold discipline in line with the school’s ‘Behaviour for Learning Policy’ while promoting good practices regarding punctuality, behavior, and homework standards
• Employ diverse teaching methods to:
i. Align approaches with content, structure ideas, present key concepts, and utilize appropriate vocabulary
ii. Engage in effective questioning, listen attentively to students, and address errors and misconceptions
iii. Choose suitable learning resources and foster study skills using library, I.C.T., and other educational technologies
• Evaluate the achievement of learning objectives to enhance specific teaching aspects
• Grade student work at least bi-weekly and set progress targets
• Use performance data to guide planning, ensuring that Learning and Teaching continue to ‘add value’
• Systematically assess and record student progress, maintaining records to track understanding and completion, monitor strengths and areas for improvement, inform planning, and acknowledge student achievement levels
• Conduct assessments as required by examination bodies, department, and school policies
• Prepare and deliver informative reports to parents
• Participate in subject development by creating, reviewing, and updating curriculum plans and work schemes
• Stay updated on subject knowledge through continuous professional development and professional reading
• Attend relevant professional development workshops
• Take on additional responsibilities as directed by the Principal or Vice Principal as needed.

You must be a fully qualified educator with:
• A passion for teaching and a caring approach to education
• A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education or a related field, along with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification, and a minimum of two years of relevant teaching experience
• Familiarity with the American curriculum
• A commitment to an extensive enrichment program
• Recent and consistent participation in extracurricular activities
• Respect for all members of the school community
• Experience working with students for whom English is an additional language
• A positive, solution-oriented attitude toward professional life
• A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services or Police check
