What We're Looking For:
We seek a KS3 Science Teacher who can:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured Science lessons in accordance with the English National Curriculum.
- Enhance students’ understanding of scientific concepts, inquiry skills, and knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
- Create a supportive, inclusive, and stimulating learning atmosphere that promotes significant progress and achievement.
- Utilize effective assessment strategies to monitor, track, and report on student progress.
- Participate in curriculum planning, assessment development, and collaborative departmental activities.
- Attend to students' pastoral needs while upholding the school’s values and behavior expectations.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student achievements and progress.
- Actively engage in professional development, school events, and broader school initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
Candidates must:
- Be proficient in English.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant discipline, along with a PGCE/QTS (or equivalent teaching credential).
- Have experience teaching the English National Curriculum, preferably in an international setting.
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills and a dedication to student welfare.
- Show excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities.
