About This Role
I-Shou International School, located in Taiwan, is a distinguished establishment dedicated to providing outstanding international education. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Health Education (PHE) Subject Chair to lead our Health and Physical Education Department, starting in August 2026. This position plays a vital role in shaping the physical education curriculum for all students in accordance with both the IB and Taiwan's national curriculum standards.
Applicants for this role must possess a passport from a country where English is an official language and hold a valid teaching registration or license allowing them to teach in public schools in their home country or other jurisdictions.

The key responsibilities of this role include spearheading the development and implementation of the physical education program, working collaboratively with faculty members, mentoring teachers within the department, and ensuring adherence to international standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education or a related discipline (minimum requirement)
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in physical education at the secondary school level
- Comprehensive knowledge of international curricula and best practices in the field of physical education
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience or potential for effectively guiding a subject team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
