We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head of Educational Technology to oversee our Design and Technology Department at the High/Secondary School level.

Salary: €35,000-€42,000 based on experience

Job Description:
The Head of Educational Technology will be responsible for the integration and enhancement of technology within the teaching and learning of ICT and Computer Science subjects from KS3 to KS5. This role includes leading curriculum development, providing professional development for staff, managing resources, and ensuring that educational technology significantly improves student learning outcomes throughout secondary education.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Advanced Diploma or higher qualification in educational technology or design & technology.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in educational technology within a secondary school context.
- In-depth knowledge of UK curriculum standards for ICT and Computer Science.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in team or departmental management.
- Excellent communication abilities for effective collaboration with staff, students, parents, and external partners.
- Proficiency in modern educational technologies, including relevant software tools for ICT and Computer Science education.
- Ability to develop innovative approaches that effectively incorporate digital tools into instructional practices.
- Experience in preparing students for IGCSE and A-Level Computer Science assessments.

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
