The department's core team sports—Rugby, Hockey, and Cricket—continue to flourish, complemented by a variety of other activities responding to student interest, including athletics, fencing, racket sports, football, and water polo. The school consistently achieves regional and national recognition in various sports and is frequently listed among the top Sporting Schools by School Sport Magazine, as well as among the best Cricketing schools by The Cricketer magazine.
The department comprises a dedicated team of full-time teaching and coaching staff, including a traditional mix of teacher-coaches whose contributions have been invaluable to the school's athletic programs.
