Job Description
Design, prepare, and deliver captivating lessons that adhere to the Early Years curriculum. Utilize play-based, inquiry-focused, and child-centered instructional strategies. Encourage early literacy, numeracy, and communication abilities. Tailor instruction to accommodate individual learning requirements. Create an engaging classroom atmosphere that promotes exploration and fosters creativity. Support the social, emotional, and behavioral growth of children. Advocate for effective behavior management techniques. Ensure that safeguarding and child protection policies are rigorously implemented. Track students’ progress and developmental achievements. Observe, evaluate, and document student advancement through both formative and summative assessments. Keep precise student records and portfolios. Generate progress reports and facilitate parent-teacher conferences. Recognize and assist children with additional learning needs. Establish a secure, organized, and inclusive classroom setting. Efficiently manage classroom resources. Engage in school functions, meetings, and professional development opportunities. Collaborate with teaching assistants and support personnel.
Skills Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related discipline.
- Teaching certification - B.Ed (Mandatory)
- At least 2 years of experience in Early Years / Foundation Stage.
- Solid understanding of child development theories.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to cultivate a warm, nurturing, and stimulating classroom atmosphere.
