About This Role
The British College of Gava, an IB World School located just 20 minutes from Barcelona, is looking to hire an EYFS teacher to become part of our expanding Primary School.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a newly built school equipped with outstanding facilities in a prime location. We are in search of a full-time Primary teacher to add to our well-established team. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated primary educator with a solid understanding of EYFS and a genuine appreciation for the significance of Early Years Education.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in accordance with the UK National Curriculum and local regulations.
- Plan, provide feedback, and instruct following school and departmental guidelines.
- Develop, prepare, and implement schemes of work that align with school policies.
- Stay informed about the National Curriculum and related documents.
- Keep accurate records of student progress, including all mandated documents required by the UK DFE.
- Generate reports and grades for students as outlined in the school calendar.
- Conduct termly meetings with parents to discuss and clarify their child’s academic performance and progress.
- Create and sustain a welcoming and stimulating environment conducive to effective teaching and learning.
- Assess progress and the effectiveness of classroom activities, adjusting planning and teaching as needed.
- Differentiating instruction based on the diverse needs of students.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Essential:
- UK trained with Qualified Teacher Status
- Bachelor's Degree
- Native-level English language proficiency
Desirable:
- Master’s or postgraduate qualification
- Right to work in the EU
- Experience teaching using Pie Corbett's ‘Talk 4 Writing’
