About This Role

The Role:

As our Enrichment Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing the student experience by designing, coordinating and delivering an engaging programme of enrichment activities that support student attendance, retention, achievement and progression. You will create opportunities that develop students' confidence, resilience, leadership skills and sense of community, helping them become active, responsible citizens prepared for their next steps in education and employment. Working closely with students, colleagues and external partners, you will lead initiatives that enrich campus life, promote inclusion and support positive student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, coordinate and deliver a diverse programme of enrichment activities that meet student needs and support institutional goals.
  • Organise workshops, seminars, campaigns and events that promote personal development, leadership, wellbeing and community engagement.
  • Lead and support major enrichment initiatives including Culture Day, International Women's Day, International Men's Day, Black History Month, mental health awareness campaigns, knife crime awareness events, and other key calendar activities.
  • Promote weekly clubs, activities and large-scale events through effective communication and student engagement strategies.
  • Act as a key point of contact for students, building positive relationships and encouraging active participation in enrichment opportunities.
  • Gather student feedback through surveys, focus groups and direct engagement, using insights to continually improve the programme.
  • Create and facilitate leadership and volunteering opportunities that empower students and enhance their personal development.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including planning, promotion, resources, attendance monitoring and evaluation.
  • Work collaboratively with Pastoral Tutors, curriculum teams and college stakeholders to deliver a high-quality enrichment offer.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with community organisations, employers and external agencies to provide impactful opportunities for students.
  • Support learners to access internal and external support services where required and contribute to safeguarding processes.
  • Monitor participation, engagement and programme outcomes, maintaining accurate records and using feedback and data to drive continuous improvement.

Compensation

£32,400 - £34,200
