Opaskwayak Education Services Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Elementary English Physical Education Teacher for the 2025-2026 academic year.

We are in search of a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher – English who can foster a supportive and culturally relevant educational environment for students at Joe A. Ross School.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- A valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate is mandatory
- A Bachelor of Education degree is required
- Candidates must present a satisfactory child abuse registry check and criminal record check prior to employment
DUTIES:
- Adhere to the Teachers Code of Conduct and the OCN/OES Employee Code of Conduct
- Maintain punctuality and exhibit respect towards all students and staff
- Effectively plan and implement the approved curriculum
- Establish and maintain a respectful, engaging, and orderly learning atmosphere that supports student education
- Assess and evaluate student performance, providing clear explanations of the evaluation methods for each course
- Submit attendance and progress reports to the principal as necessary
- Use assessment outcomes to improve physical education instruction and student learning
- Refer students to specialized services when appropriate
- Ensure all lesson plans, timetables, and grading records are completed and submitted at the end of the teaching term
- Carry out any additional responsibilities as assigned
