Temporary Class Teacher
Purpose
To deliver high-quality teaching and learning, enabling all pupils to achieve their full potential in a safe, inclusive
and engaging environment. The postholder will maintain high expectations of achievement, behaviour and
attitudes, while supporting the school's vision and values.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver effective lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.
• Maintain high expectations and standards of learning, behaviour and presentation.
• Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress.
• Adapt teaching to support all learners, including those with SEND and disadvantaged pupils.
• Create a positive, stimulating and well-managed classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers.
• Uphold safeguarding requirements and professional standards at all times.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Experience of teaching in a primary school setting.
• Secure knowledge of the National Curriculum
