AP Mathematics Teacher
About This Role
This is a full-time position within our Secondary Mathematics department, focusing on teaching AP courses such as AP Calculus and AP Physics. The educator will deliver instruction aligned with established curricular standards while creating a nurturing and secure learning environment inspired by the love of Jesus for all students.
Additional responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to:
- Leading Chapel or Social Emotional Learning (SEL) sessions
- Overseeing students in various settings
- Participating in departmental and school-wide meetings
- Collaborating on diverse school improvement projects
- Communicating with parents, colleagues, and administration
- Engaging in ongoing professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in mathematics education or a mathematics-related discipline
- Familiarity with effective practices in teaching mathematics to secondary students
- Experience teaching AP Calculus (preferred) and a robust understanding of complex mathematical concepts and processes
- A valid teaching license (preferred)
- Experience working with older children in a classroom environment
- Faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to deepen one’s relationship with Him
- English as a primary language
Compensation:
- Starting salary ranging from ฿530,000 to ฿1,000,000+. Salary adjustments are based on the type(s) of degree(s), teaching certification, prior experience at ICSN, and overall years of experience.
- Annual benefits include an airfare stipend, housing stipend, comprehensive health insurance (for the employee and dependents), a provident fund, and additional perks.
