About This Role

In light of the ongoing success of GEMS Wesgreen International School in Sharjah, we are seeking a skilled Primary Art Teacher to join our team starting in August 2026.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) to gain invaluable international experience or for a seasoned educator to advance their career with a globally recognized institution within a premier international school setting.

Skills and Experience
Ideal candidates should possess:

A B.Ed., or relevant degree, along with a PGCE/PGDE or equivalent, specializing in Art.
A minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Art at the primary level within the National Curriculum for England.
A demonstrated history of exceptional teaching and learning outcomes.
The capability to ignite creativity and nurture a passion for Art among young students.
A belief that all students can reach high standards, combined with the enthusiasm to assist them in doing so.
Experience in contributing to a rich and imaginative curriculum.
