AS/A Level Mathematics Teacher (Cambridge) & Secondary Mathematics Coordinator

The Modern Educational Complex, named after Heydar Aliyev and situated in Baku, Azerbaijan, is on the lookout for an exceptional and seasoned Cambridge Mathematics Educator to enhance our vibrant educational team. This position merges teaching proficiency with leadership, allowing for a dual role as a Cambridge A Level Mathematics Teacher and Secondary Mathematics Coordinator.

We seek a dedicated individual with a robust background in the Cambridge International Curriculum (AS/A Level) who can motivate students, assist colleagues, and uphold high standards in mathematics instruction throughout the secondary school.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional Mathematics lessons that align with the AS/A Level curriculum, ensuring positive student outcomes.

Lead and manage the Secondary Mathematics department, fostering consistency and excellence in teaching methodologies.

•
Mentor and guide Mathematics educators through coaching, lesson observations, and constructive feedback.

•
Create and implement effective schemes of work, assessments, and enrichment activities consistent with Cambridge standards.

•
Track student progress and utilize data to refine teaching methods and enhance departmental performance.

•
Cultivate a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning atmosphere for students aged 11–18.

Requirements:

•
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related discipline.

•
Demonstrated experience in teaching AS/A Level Mathematics.

•
A minimum of 3 years of applicable teaching experience with Cambridge Curricula.

•
Excellent proficiency in English (both written and spoken).

•
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
