About This Role

Required Key Stage 2 Class Teacher

To commence in August 2026

Ardingly Astana welcomed its inaugural group of students in September 2024. In its first operational year, the school served primary pupils from years 1 to 6. The institution has now introduced the initial phase of its secondary education (Years 7-9).

As we prepare to expand into a two-form entry and transition to our purpose-built facility in August 2026, we are on the lookout for exceptional candidates who possess the experience, passion, and enthusiasm to flourish as part of our growing team. All educators at Ardingly Astana will play a vital role in fostering a supportive and nurturing atmosphere where students can cultivate a lifelong love for learning and develop essential skills both in and out of the classroom.

The chosen candidate will become part of a dedicated and passionate team of educators committed to delivering inspiring instruction and adhering to best practices in teaching aligned with Ardingly's standards, positioning the school among the finest international institutions both locally and regionally.

Our goal is to ensure that each child enjoys a rewarding and fulfilling educational experience, maximizes their abilities during their time at school, and is prepared for life beyond. Central to an Ardingly education is the promise that every child is recognized, valued, and motivated. Each student has a distinct character, a unique array of skills, and a significant contribution to make. We believe our role is to comprehend and nurture their individuality, enhance their talents, acknowledge their contributions, and instill the values, qualities, and skills necessary for success in the world beyond Ardingly.

Ideal candidates must possess:

An educational degree, such as a Bachelor’s in Education or a related discipline.

A recognized teaching qualification, such as PGCE, QTS with an Induction Certificate, or equivalent (the PGCE should be accompanied by a subject-relevant Bachelor’s Degree).

At least two years of teaching experience (international experience is beneficial but not mandatory).

Strong subject knowledge, with extensive experience in delivering the British National Curriculum and/or Cambridge.

A genuine passion for creating a student-centered learning environment.

A dedication to professional development and a collaborative teaching approach.

A proven history of delivering exceptional teaching and learning experiences.
