About This Role

Aldar Academies is on the lookout for an exceptional Early Years Foundation Stage Class Teacher to join Mamoura British Academy in Abu Dhabi, starting in the 2026-2027 Academic Year.

Ideal candidates will embody our core values and ethos, demonstrating a genuine understanding and appreciation of the local culture.

• Support and provide interventions for students with EAL or additional learning needs.
• Inspire pupils through engaging and imaginative presentations.
• Document children's work and learning according to the Mamoura British Academy Marking and Feedback policy.
• Reflect on lessons taught and student progress, adjusting planning, curriculum, and continuous provision accordingly.
• Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and educational psychologists, when needed.
• Integrate the Mamoura British Academy Teacher and Learner DNA language and attributes throughout the curriculum.
• Participate in the enhancement of teaching and learning school-wide by sharing best practices and engaging in CPD and T&L initiatives.
• Demonstrate effective technology use through innovative and creative lesson delivery and continuous provision.

C. Assessment and Data:

• Assume responsibility for the attainment and progress of a class of EYFS children, ensuring they exceed expected standards.
• Fulfill assessment and recording requirements of pupils' development using Learning Ladders.
• Utilize assessment data to inform future planning and interventions.
• Provide regular updates to parents and carers regarding student progress during Parent Teacher Conferences and other meetings.
• Prepare and contribute to termly Pupil Progress meetings.

D. Behaviour Management and Duties:

• Adhere to the Mamoura British Academy behaviour management policy and promote the TRACK Values to establish high expectations.
• Effectively manage classes using strategies tailored to pupils' needs, inspiring, motivating, and challenging them.
• Foster positive relationships with pupils and parents, following school procedures to address any infrequent instances of undesirable behavior.
• Serve as a positive role model, consistently demonstrating the attitudes, values, and behaviors expected of students.
• Carry out playground and additional duties punctually, interactively, and proactively.
• Ensure accurate follow-up and documentation of any behaviour or safeguarding concerns on CPOMS.

E. Wider Professional Responsibilities:

• Collaborate within a curriculum action group to support planning, assessment, resources, and special events associated with that team.
• Assist in organizing and participating in school events, outings, and activities that may occur on weekends or evenings.
• Maintain effective communication with parents/carers regarding students' achievements and well-being through school processes.
• Contribute positively to the broader life and ethos of the school.
• Facilitate a weekly ECA each term to enhance the offerings for our students.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.

Minimum Experience:

• Experience teaching the English National Curriculum.
• EYFS experience is preferred.

• Proven success in teaching across various age and ability ranges.
• Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work under pressure, solve problems, and demonstrate resilience.
• Commitment to continuous professional development (CPD).
• Experience in multiple International Schools is desirable.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
