ROLE
We are in search of a Lower Secondary Computing teacher who possesses expertise in integrating technology into the educational framework across various subjects, including humanities, The Arts, and language learning.
Start date: August 2026.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
•
A robust academic foundation in Computing, Computer Science, ICT, Programming, or a related discipline.
•
Prior experience in educational environments.
•
Proficient programming and ICT abilities, with a talent for delivering creative, practical, and engaging lessons.
•
Experience teaching the Cambridge International Curriculum for Lower Secondary and iGCSE.
•
Outstanding communication skills in English, with a commitment to learning Portuguese (if not already fluent).
•
The capability to collaborate effectively within a cross-curricular teaching context.
•
A proactive mindset and attentiveness to engage and challenge students.
•
Strong classroom management capabilities.
•
Commitment to effectively monitor individual student needs, progress, and growth.
