About This Role

ROLE SUMMARY:

King's College School, Cascais, part of the esteemed Inspired Education Group, is a prominent international school situated in the Lisbon region. We provide a comprehensive global education through the Cambridge International curriculum up to Year 10, complemented by a bilingual Portuguese–English programme for students up to Year 5. Our dedication to academic excellence and holistic development equips our students for success in leading universities worldwide.

We are on the lookout for a passionate and highly skilled Teacher of Chemistry to join our team for the upcoming academic year. This is a thrilling opportunity to be part of our Science Department, where you will deliver exceptional lessons and motivate students throughout the Senior School. We particularly encourage candidates who can also teach either Biology or Physics at the iGCSE level, in addition to Chemistry up to IBDP.

In this role, you will provide stimulating Chemistry lessons that cultivate scientific curiosity, analytical skills, and practical laboratory abilities. As a member of the Inspired global network, you will enjoy access to excellent laboratory facilities, supportive colleagues, and extensive professional development opportunities, while also contributing to the broader academic and pastoral life of the school.

Additionally, you may want to consider attending our in-person Inspired Careers Event in London on Saturday, 24th January 2026. This event will feature our school alongside over 30 other UK and international Inspired schools, all looking to connect with educators seeking new positions starting in August 2026.
