THE ROLE

In this position, the teacher will:


Deliver effective instruction and manage classrooms, ensuring that objectives are met, progress is tracked, and teaching time is optimally utilized.


Employ engaging teaching strategies that spark students’ intellectual curiosity through effective questioning, clear presentations, and resourceful teaching methods.


Establish high standards for student behavior and maintain effective behavior management in line with the school’s policies.


Instruct up to A Level Maths, with the capability to teach Further Maths being a notable advantage.

As a Maths Teacher, your responsibilities will include:


Leading initiatives to enhance student involvement and school spirit.


Supporting enrichment activities and school functions.


Enhancing parental engagement through effective communication and updates on student progress.


Delivering inclusive, dynamic, and impactful lessons.


Encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and design thinking.


Implementing data-informed strategies to assist diverse learning needs.


Incorporating digital tools to enrich the educational experience.


Serving as a Form Tutor and contributing to the IB curriculum.


Creating and executing curriculum-aligned lesson plans.


Conducting thorough assessments and providing timely feedback.


Participating in curriculum innovation and quality assurance.


Engaging in ongoing professional development.


Reflecting on teaching practices to enhance effectiveness.


Embodying the school’s values and fostering a positive school culture.

The Successful Candidate will have:


An accredited teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, HDipEd, or equivalent).


A current Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure for all countries of residence.


Compliance with visa requirements for employment.


A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare, along with a readiness to undertake relevant child protection training as needed.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
