We are seeking a highly qualified and skilled Science Teacher to join our team in August 2026.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Deliver captivating and effective Science instruction that aligns with the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) and other international curricula.


Design and implement engaging lessons tailored to various learning styles, employing contemporary teaching methods and technology.


Assess student progress through both formative and summative evaluations to maintain high academic standards.


Offer pastoral support, enhancing student well-being and working alongside the school's well-being team.


Motivate student participation in extra-curricular activities, cultural events, and STEM initiatives.


Contribute to curriculum development and initiatives aimed at school improvement.


Foster a positive classroom atmosphere with high expectations for behavior and discipline.


Collaborate with colleagues to exchange best practices and support each other's professional development objectives.


Maintain regular communication with parents and stakeholders regarding student progress.


Stay informed about educational developments and engage in ongoing professional growth.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:


A relevant degree in Science or a related discipline (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) along with a valid teaching qualification.


Experience in teaching Science, preferably with familiarity with the IB curriculum (IBDP) or other international programs.


The ability to inspire and engage students, instilling a passion for scientific investigation and discovery.


Strong skills in differentiating instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.


Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to cultivate strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.


Experience utilizing technology and innovative teaching approaches to enhance the learning experience.


A dedication to ongoing professional development.


A solid understanding of safeguarding and student welfare practices.

Compensation
