RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the safety, well-being, and happiness of students at the school.
- Take responsibility for the attainment, progress, and outcomes of the students you instruct.
- Utilize assessment effectively to enhance student progress.
- Serve as a positive role model by consistently demonstrating the attitudes, values, and behaviors expected of students.
- Uphold the school’s policies and high expectations for students, ensuring all learners benefit from an effective educational environment.
- Actively engage in the Development and Appraisal process, maintaining documentation that demonstrates professional growth against set targets.
- Contribute to the school community through your contractual duties and participation in broader events and initiatives that enrich the AAA experience for students.
- Support the school’s development plan.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree and PGCE Education certification are required.
- Essential experience includes teaching the English national curriculum, including GCSE and A-level; international school experience is a plus.
Attitude, Knowledge, and Skills:
- A strong passion for teaching and a commitment to holistic child education.
- A high degree of professionalism and consideration for children's well-being.
- Recent and ongoing involvement in extracurricular activities.
- A positive and solution-oriented approach to work.
- Experience with students for whom English is not their first language is advantageous.
- Traits of respect, fairness, tolerance, a sense of humor, and the ability to be both a leader and a collaborative team member.
