About This Role

The Arbor School is seeking an exceptional individual to fill an exciting position that has opened within our organization. The ideal applicant will be integral in advancing the school's vision for ecology and sustainability while motivating students to excel across a range of academic areas. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Whole School PE Teacher - Outdoor and Adventurous Activities Lead to join our esteemed PE and Sports team. This role entails providing outstanding Physical Education instruction to all students (KS1–KS4) with an emphasis on Outdoor and Adventurous Activities (OAA).

We are in search of an experienced Whole School PE Teacher - Outdoor and Adventurous Activities Lead who has a genuine passion for the subject and a thorough understanding of it. The successful candidate should be capable of teaching students with varying abilities and possess a track record of achieving excellent results in both physical and academic development. To enhance our sports offerings, we are particularly interested in a professional with knowledge in athletics, netball, and cheerleading.

JOB SUMMARY

The successful candidate will be proficient and experienced in teaching Physical Education and Leading Outdoor Education, which is essential to our ecological and sustainability principles, while supporting students in developing healthy, active lifestyles and fostering resilience, teamwork, and a strong connection to the natural environment.

You will oversee and implement the Duke of Edinburgh International Award and contribute to a lively enrichment and Apply via the WhatSchool platform.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
