• Demonstrate effective adaptive teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Use Assessment for Learning (AfL) strategies to monitor progress and inform planning.
• Apply principles from our Teaching and Learning Compendium, including explicit instruction, modelling, retrieval practice, and effective questioning.
• Use hinge questions to check understanding and address misconceptions in real time.
• Promote strong vocabulary development, oracy, and a love of learning.
