About This Role

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised and reliable Science Technician to support our busy and high-achieving Science Department.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in preparing materials and equipment for practical lessons ensuring that all laboratory activities run smoothly, safely and effectively. You will also assist with the maintenance, organisation and development of laboratory equipment and resources, helping to create an engaging learning environment for our students.

We are looking for someone with an interest in science, who works well as part of a team and demonstrates initiative, flexibility and a positive “can-do” approach. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential.

Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone wishing to develop their skills within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.

This is a rewarding role for an individual who enjoys working behind the scenes to support outstanding science teaching and learning.

Working hours: 28 hours per week, term time only. This would be 8 am to 3.30 pm over four days (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday).
