About This Role

We are seeking an exceptional and experienced leader with a strong track record of improving outcomes across primary schools. The successful candidate will bring:

Leadership and School Improvement

  • Successful headship and/or senior leadership experience, ideally across more than one primary setting
  • Proven experience of leading and delivering sustained school improvement
  • Experience of supporting school leaders to improve teaching, learning and outcomes
  • Ability to develop and implement effective school improvement strategies at scale

Curriculum, Teaching and Standards

  • Strong understanding of high-quality curriculum design, implementation and assessment
  • Experience of improving teaching through coaching, professional dialogue and CPD
  • Secure knowledge of data analysis and its use to drive pupil achievement
  • Commitment to high expectations and inclusion for all pupils, including disadvantaged and SEND learners

System Leadership and Collaboration

  • Experience of working across multiple schools or within a Trust, building effective partnerships
  • Ability to influence, challenge and support leaders with credibility and professionalism
  • Skilled in building collaborative networks and fostering a culture of shared responsibility

Knowledge and Professional Expertise

  • Up-to-date knowledge of national education policy, including Ofsted, DfE and SIAMS frameworks
  • Understanding of safeguarding requirements and commitment to maintaining a strong safeguarding culture
  • Experience of working within Church school or values-led contexts (desirable)

Personal Qualities and Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to deadlines
  • Integrity, discretion and professionalism in all aspects of the role
  • A commitment to collaboration, continuous professional development and the Trust’s values

Compensation

£30,000 - £46,525 (MPS/UPS Scale)
