About This Role

We are looking to appoint a permanent Alternative Provision Tutor for 37 hours per week, on a term time only basis to join our team at The Compass Academy.

Compass Academy is a unique, KS3, Alternative Provision Academy which supports pupils from across the city of Hull and outer regions who have been permanently excluded from school, at risk of exclusion or have identified SEND means which that pupils require specialist support to be able to access education.

This role will work with teachers to provide teaching, learning and pastoral support by working with individuals or small groups of students under the direction of Pastoral Leads/teaching staff and the Senior Leadership Team.

On occasion, staff may be responsible for some learning activities within the overall teaching plan.

Compensation

£21,567.00 - £22,255.00 Annually (Actual) Salary shown above is pro rata, based on an Full Time Equivalent of £25,185 to £25,989 (Grade D, Scale Points 04-06) (year)
