About This Role

" Be Adventurous: making the ordinary extraordinary"

Gledhow Primary School is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant with SEN experience to work across our school.

We are keen to speak to calm, caring, and resilient
individuals who will bring a warm and nurturing personality to our school
alongside an understanding of the families and children in our community.

Applications are welcome from suitably experienced and/or
qualified Teaching Assistants who can demonstrate good teaching and learning
skills with an understanding and awareness of special educational needs and
early years.

About Us:

Gledhow is a super school with brilliant pupils, staff, governors and
families. We are a large busy three-form entry school in North Leeds with a
wonderfully diverse pupil and colleague community. At Gledhow we strive to make
the ordinary extraordinary, by taking the everyday experiences our pupils have
and transforming them into amazing opportunities for learning, growth, and
personal development.

This is a rewarding role where you will:

  • Primarily work providing 1:1 learning support
addressing the individual needs of our SEN pupils.
  • Support the class teacher during lessons to create
    an engaging and supportive classroom.
  • Help children throughout the day including at playtimes
    and during dinner.
  • Work collaboratively as a team with our amazing teaching,
    learning support, and lunchtime colleagues.

The working hours are 32.5hrs per week, TTO, Monday to
Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm.
