“We need a Maths teacher who will not give up on a young-person just because they may have previously given up on Maths.”

  KS3 and KS4.
• Can prepare pupils effectively for GCSE
  Mathematics.
• Can make maths accessible to pupils with
  significant gaps in their learning.
• Understands that behaviour is not the
  same as ability.
• Can build strong relationships while maintaining
  clear and consistent boundaries.
• Is confident adapting teaching for pupils with
  SEND and EHCPs.
• Remains calm, consistent, and solution-focused
  when pupils find learning difficult.
• Believes that attendance, engagement, and
  achievement are everyone's responsibility.
• Has high expectations and refuses to give up on
  young people.
• Wants to be part of a team working to improve
  pupils' outcomes and future opportunities.
