We are inviting applications for an enthusiastic and skilled teacher to join our esteemed Mathematics Faculty. Experience teaching Maths and Further Maths at Key Stage 5 is advantageous. We welcome applications from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced professionals.

• ✔ Newly qualified teachers will start with a competitive salary of £42,718 per annum (spine point M4).
• ✔ Your salary will be reviewed annually until you reach the maximum level.
• ✔ Eligible candidates will have access to two pension options: the Teachers Superannuation scheme or the Isle of Man Government Defined Contribution (DC) scheme.
• ✔ For those returning to the island who have participated in the Department’s Student Loan scheme for tuition fees, the loan will be cleared by the Department after completing your second year as a teacher at one of the island's schools. This repayment is capped at £7,500 for a three-year degree or £10,000 for a four-year degree, as per the guidelines in the Teacher Loan Cancellation Policy.
• ✔ If you secure a permanent position in Maths, English, or Science teaching (excluding TLR), you may be eligible for a subject shortage allowance of up to £500 per month for a maximum of 8 months.
• ✔ Access to the Learning, Education and Development training facility, available exclusively for Public Service employees, is offered to support your ongoing professional development.
