About This Role
South Island School is looking to hire an exceptional English Teacher to instruct both English Language and English Literature. The ideal candidate will possess advanced teaching skills, with a talent for motivating, inspiring, and connecting with students inside and outside the classroom, aiming to secure outstanding educational results for our learners. The applicant must be a native English speaker and have prior experience teaching English Language and English Literature. Familiarity with IB MYP, IGCSE, and IB Diploma programs is preferred. The successful candidate will also take on the role of pastoral tutor and actively contribute to the school's extracurricular activities. This is a full-time renewable position, commencing with an initial two-year contract starting in August 2025. Assistance with acquiring Hong Kong residency will be offered if needed.
