About This Role

Kings’ School Nad Al Sheba Secondary is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Computing to join our team.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to assume a leadership position within the Business and Computing Faculty.

As part of our dynamic and innovative team, you will be instrumental in providing an exceptional education to some of the most ambitious students in Dubai.

You will be responsible for inspiring your students daily to become engaged, independent, and successful lifelong learners while following the Pearson Edexcel IGCSE, International A Level, and BTEC Level 3 curricula.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who fulfills the following requirements:

Essential:

  • A relevant Bachelor's Degree is required
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification is necessary
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for sharing this with students are essential
  • Experience in teaching GCSE and A Level/BTEC courses is required
  • A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience is preferred, although we are open to new teachers with exceptional potential
  • Ability to deliver consistently engaging lessons with a proven track record of outstanding results
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Evidence of recent professional development relevant to this role
  • Innovative ideas to enhance the department's visibility within the school
  • ICT skills that reflect the role of technology in contemporary classrooms
  • Commitment to extracurricular activities
  • Dedication to the well-being and pastoral care of all students
  • An innovative, creative, and positive attitude

Desirable:

  • Experience working internationally or with students from diverse backgrounds
