Main Duties:

  • Implementing assessments to inform teaching and interventions; providing clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents.
  • Leading or engaging in exhibitions, competitions, enrichment initiatives, and school-wide creative projects.
  • Ensuring compliance with best practices regarding safeguarding, inclusion, health & safety, and risk assessments within the art studio environment.
  • Collaborating with colleagues in the department on curriculum development, progression, moderation, and enrichment opportunities.

About You:

  • A degree in Art / Fine Art / Art & Design (or a related discipline) along with a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE/QTS or an equivalent international qualification).
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Art within the Cambridge and/or UK curriculum; experience in preparing students for IGCSE/GCSE Art is advantageous.
  • Strong classroom management capabilities with inclusive strategies for multilingual learners, and proficiency in digital tools (Adobe suite, digital portfolios, Google/Microsoft platforms).
  • Ability to create an inspiring studio environment that displays student work and encourages artistic risk-taking.
  • A growth mindset, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to student wellbeing and safeguarding.

We Offer:

  • A supportive, values-driven environment with high expectations and excellent opportunities for professional development.
  • Opportunities for career advancement and collaboration in a forward-thinking setting.
  • A competitive international compensation package (details will be shared with shortlisted candidates).
